Exfoliated Vermiculite
Vermiculite is a hydrous iron magnesium phyllosilicate mineral. It exfoliates when heated in 760-1000°C. Expanded vermiculate is more than 5-15 times the original volume.
Vermiculite contents rich elements like nitrogen, phosphorus, aluminum, iron, magnesium and silicates. Exfoliated vermiculite particles have higher cation exchange capacity and its characteristics are lightweight, incombustible, fireproofing, highly heat insulating, non-toxic, highly absorbent, sound-absorbing. Therefore, Vermiculite is wildly used in many different kinds of fields.
